Getting started

Make your first chat and find your way around.

• How do I start a chat?Press "New chat" at the top of the sidebar, pick a model in the model picker and type your message.
• Can I use models on my own computer?Yes. Install Ollama, then choose "On this computer" in the model picker and connect it. Those models run on your machine, so they use no credits.
• How do I keep my chats organised?Make folders in the sidebar (they can have one level of sub-folders and a colour) and drag chats into them, or use a chat’s menu to pin it, move it,…
• Can I tell the AI about myself or how I like answers?Yes. In Settings → Personalisation you can describe yourself, say how answers should read, and pick the language to answer in. It’s added to every new…
• I deleted something by mistake. Can I get it back?Deleted chats, projects, files, documents and spreadsheets go to the Trash, where you can restore them.
• A feature I used before is gone from the sidebar.Your administrator can switch features such as AI Docs, slides, sheets, diagrams, AI Sites, images, agents, workflows and connected apps off.
